What does KNOXERS mean? Knoxers began as a description of the friendship between four people at Pat & Terry Nally’s wedding in 1977. ‘Our friendship is as tight and secure as the Gold in Fort Knox!’ were the words heard at the end of the wedding. Hence, we called ourselves 'KNOXERS'. Since that time, we have established and maintained many relationships that expanded this group of friends well beyond the original four! We adopted the word KNOXERS as a greeting or as a send-off. We use this phrase to express appreciation and joy of such friendships. Our Friend-Ship is like Fort Knox, Trust in it and you’ll never get lost! See each other, leave each other, it all comes around. You know that we’re tight - We take things just right! This is the best Ship, I’ve ever been on. Trust in our Friend-Ship, You’ll never go wrong!  | |||||
